Luisa "Mary Lou" Fernandez, 83, passed away on April 22, 2013.
Luisa was a homemaker and an active member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting and crochet.
Luisa is survived by her daughter, Rose Fernandez; sons, Louis Fernandez, Tommy Merchant, Billy Fernandez, and Sergio Fernandez. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Thomas "Bennie" Fernandez; grandson, Brian Drew; sisters, Maria Meacham and Elvira Caraway.
A visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Sunday, April 28, 2013, with a Rosary at 7:00pm. A mass is scheduled at 9:00am Monday, April 29, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Church. Her final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Merchant, Valerie Fernandez, Andy Fernandez, John Meacham, Eric Martinez, and Michael Fernandez.
