Margaret Dean Sikes

Margaret Dean Sikes passed away at the age of 83 on Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Yuma, Arizona. Born September 4, 1931 in Simms, Texas to Walter and Opal Cope. Margaret worked as a housekeeper at Paradise Casino in California, she was a cashier at Richards Market and also worked at Circle K for many years, and was a sorter produce sorter for Pasquinelli Produce.

Margaret absolutely loved her being with her grandchildren, she loved flowers and gardening, she enjoyed going out to eat and mostly being with her family.

CH and Margaret Sikes had been married for 62 years. She will be missed by her loving daughter Patricia (Warnock) Simmons of Yuma, Arizona, son-in-law, Eric Simmons; son, Randall (Lillian) Sikes of New Brunswick, Georgia; grandsons, Allen Clay (Lorie) Raney III of Yuma and Justin (Emily) Stafford of Phoenix; granddaughter, Brittany (Julio) Warnock of Somerton and Kaylene (Isaac) Stafford of Yuma; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren plus many nieces and nephews; sisters, Pearlene McBride and Mary (Jimmy) McGhee both of Texarkana, TX; brother, Walter Cope (Vada) Grape Creek, TX; brother, Oval (Laverne) Cope of Lyndon, TX and daughter-in-law, Sharon Sikes. She was predeceased by her husband, CH Sikes; sons, Henry Sikes and Jimmy Sikes; daughter, Jeannette Sikes; parents,Walter and Opal Cope; granddaughter Jenifer Raney; and her siblings, Maydelle, James Cope, Doris, Estelle McElwee, Earlene, Buster, Leo Cope (Nettie), Benton Cope and Curtis Cope; daughter-in-law, Margaret Sikes

Memorial Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Kammann, Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 5:00 pm. A private cremation will take place at a later date. Funeral Arrangements by Johnson Mortuary.
