Maria de Jesus Villarreal Rosales, 82, born in Cavillo, Aguascalientes on December 2, 1931, died in her home in Somerton, AZ on Wednesday, November 6, 2013.
Beloved wife of Juan Jimenez Villarreal, she is loved and will be dearly missed by her 12 children, 30 grand kids, 31 great-grand kids and 5 great-great-grand kids. Maria was awarded the Campesina del Año in 2005. She was a farm worker turned entrepreneur.
There will be a viewing on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church located at 310 W Spring Street, Somerton with rosary at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. in Somerton followed by burial at Desert Lawn Memorial Park located at 1415 S. 1st Ave, Yuma. Pallbearers: Uriel, Juan, Jorge, Miguel, David, Jose, and Raul.
