

Martha was born to parents, Joe and Evelyn Breech, longtime Yuma Valley farmers. She was raised on the family farm, attended Crane Elementary and Kofa High School, and lived all of her life in Yuma. Martha married Wren H. Ott, July 22, 1967. She passed away in the evening of January 10, 2017 at the Yuma Nursing Center at the age of 69.
Although Martha battled multiple serious health issues from childhood, she enjoyed life. Her hobbies included cooking, crocheting, window shopping and working on her emails. She loved Western movies, especially those starring John Wayne. She always appreciated a good joke, and had a keen sense of humor. Martha loved Shadow, her loyal companion miniature Schnauzer.
Martha worked as a cook and resident driver at several area care facilities. She was a very caring person and was generous with her time to help others with their needs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph L. and Evelyn L. (Myers) Breech and her husband Wren H. Ott; also her grandmothers Bertie Breech and Bessie Myers; Aunt and Uncle Lawrence and Pauline (Myers) Bingham
Surviving family include her daughter, Tina M. Rodriquez, and grandsons Garrett Coleman and Jarrod Ullery, her daughter, Kathryn A. Ott, and granddaughter Elle Ott. Also her sister, Judy Breech Pemberton, (Doug) and nieces Wynette Sills and Josephine Pemberton, Aunt Linda Fugate, as well as many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park 1415 S First Avenue, Yuma, AZ January 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
