Mary Catherine Newcomb, 62, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012. She was born January 10, 1950, in Yuma.
Mary retired from the Bureau of Reclamation after a 30 year career. She volunteered with the 4-H Club, and was a graduate of Kofa High School in 1968. She loved spending time with her family, participating in activities such as hunting, camping and fishing. Mary also enjoyed her quiet time at home embroidering and crocheting.
Mary is survived by her husband, Stanley Newcomb; daughters, Caryn (Oscar) Penunuri and Catherine Newcomb; granddaughters, Caylah Rojo, Ciara and Cienna Penunuri; great-grandchildren, Caden Orion, Caren and Caily
