Maxine H. Thompson, born December 28, 1920, passed away peacefully at her home on January 15, 2014.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Thompson of Yuma; granddaughters, Tonya (Kurt) Smith and Shayla (Josh) McRae of Oregon City, Oregon; four great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Anson Smith, Owen and Tommy McRae. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Thompson; mother, Susan Hague; sister, Helen Pozzoban and nephew, Joe Pozzobon.
A retired bookkeeper, she worked for accounting firms, also for North Gila Valley Irrigation District, Yuma Irrigation District and Royal Medjool Date Farms.
Maxine's laughter, words of wisdom, encouragement and thoughtfulness are gifts of love that will be kept in the hearts if everyone who know her.
No services are planned at her request. Donations may be made in her names to Hospice of Yuma.
