Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park
On Monday, August 1st, 2022 Nancy (Zaleha) Bicknell, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 71. She was born on January 17, 1951 in Bridgeport, CT to Joe and Adele Zaleha. She worked as Office Manager at Yuma Dental Center for 35 years and spent the years after that enjoying every moment with her friends and family. On August 1st, 1971, she married Larry Bicknell. Through this union they welcomed their two sons, Brian and Scott.
Nancy’s passion in life was pleasing and caring for others and was one of the most selfless and compassionate people on earth. She did not judge, instead she treated everyone as equals and would do anything for anyone at any time. She had a smile that would comfort any situation and was always willing to listen. One of her favorite things to do was spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them as they were the light of her life. She was the rock to her family and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Nancy had a long struggle with Diabetes and passed away due to complications from a recent surgery.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Joe, and her mother, Adele. She is survived by her husband Larry, two children Brian (Christina) and Scott (Leah), sister Marie (Larry) Allen and grandchildren, Luke and Levi.
There will be a celebration of life but no date has been set at this time.
