Olga Marie Salomon, age 78, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Yuma Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. Olga was born February 7, 1942 in Winterhaven, California.

She was a proud graduate of the Yuma High Class of 1959. She had a long career with Sears, starting part-time during her senior year of high school, then eventually became the store manager. She “semi-retired” and started her new career working in various medical offices before officially retiring from Yuma Rehabilitation Center in 2012.

Mom was a woman of great faith, who loved her family & friends. She loved watching her grandchildren’s sporting events as well as attending their school activities. Mom also loved to dance with the love of her life and enjoyed listening to music.

Preceding Olga in death was, husband Charles (Petie), mother Pearl Santini, father Frank Santini, brothers Johnny, Agustin, Charlie and Richard Santini.

She is survived by daughter Belinda Bodnar (Gary), son Greg Salomon (Tracey), granddaughter Katherine Bodnar, grandsons Trevor Bodnar, Gavin Salomon and Derek Salomon, sister, Alice Santini and brother, Ernie Santini and many loving nieces and nephews.

My beautiful memories of Olga is dancing with Petie they always looked like ballroom dancers so perfect and so beautiful and handsome. She was always smiling and had so much love for everyone of us. She was my idol most prettest girl ever! Olga I didn't see much but I always smiled when I thought of you. So glad to have had you when growing up so many memories in Winterhaven thanks for all your kindness I will miss you and always in my heart. I close my eyes and I can see your beautiful face and smile rest in peace cousin and dance with your Petie in heaven ♥️🌹love Diane

Lived on George Street in Yuma 15+ years before moving to Washington and have many fond memories of Greg and our son, Johnny, playing together as children. Olga and Pete was such nice people & loved by all. Sincere condolences to the family and may your memories bring you comfort.
