He was 88 years young.
Oscar was born July 1, 1935, in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico to Roberto and Belen Keeme. Oscar was the second of 5 siblings, Ana Luisa, Alejandro, Maria and Richard. Oscar graduated from Douglas High School and joined the Air Force. He was a Korean War Veteran. The GI bill allowed him to attend and graduate from The University of Arizona.
Oscar was married to his lovely bride, Olga, for 59 years. They raised three amazing children, Kassandra, Marko and Erick. Oscar enjoyed and shared many adventures with his twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Oscar had a diverse career in banking, real estate, insurance, he was a clinic administrator, a court interpreter, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Oscar and Olga opened Marko’s Imports and Boutique; Marko’s Hairworks and Beauty Supply and The International School of Dance.
Oscar loved the arts. He loved to paint, carve, play guitar and practice martial arts. He was blessed with very dear friends and family who traveled with them to 33 countries. One of the highlights of Oscar and Olga’s Missionary work led them to meet and work with Mother Theresa.
Oscar was always smiling and had a great sense of humor. He will be forever in our hearts.
