

Patricia Joyce Sherman age 80, passed on July 9th, 2024, after suffering a cardiac-renal event.
Patricia, Pat, grew up in Globe Arizona and after high school graduation moved to Yuma Arizona where she quickly met and married her husband of 55 years, James Larry Sherman; preceding her in death January 25th, 2018.
She loved animals and raised a Goat herd, Rabbit Colony, and Pigeon Flock throughout the years. She was a 4-H Leader and competed herself at Fairs and Shows around the United States. She was the “Goat and Rabbit Lady” to many 4-H kids and a true “Cat Lady” taking care of every feral cat around. She and her husband shared a love of Pigeon’s, breeding, showing, and selling, around the World. Her Grandchildren loved spending summers and weekends, “on the farm” riding the Buggy, fishing, hunting, and playing with all the animals, dogs, and cats.
Pat was also the biggest Gordon Lightfoot fan ever, following him throughout the western United States to many shows. She was a proud Gordo Groupie.
Pat was truly a kid at heart experiencing many things in adulthood she did not as a child. Her Dad passing at her age of 12, the oldest of 4 girls. Known to her family as, “ the energizer bunny” and “I’m fine” Pat, she always was full of energy, happy, and making light of any situation including herself. She was joking to the very end and ready to see her three sisters, her Mom and Dad and her Husband.
Pat is survived by her Daughters; Gina Whittington and Robin Peters. Son; James Stacy Sherman
Grandchildren; Cody Cloud, Tylee (Andrew) Magana, Jacob Whittington, Cole Peters, Bella Peters, Joel Skidmore, and great granddaughter, Luella Love Magana.
