Pete attended Yuma High School and was a floor covering contractor for several years. He had a great appreciation for family and friends. He took great joy at family gatherings whether big or small. He was most proud of his children and grandchildren.
Pete is survived by his 3 children; Angel, Pedro Jr., and Vanessa; 7 grandchildren; Samuel Sauiluma, 12, Emery Sauiluma 11, Michael Sauiluma 9, Ivan Velasquez 10, Victoria Velasquez 6, Elena Montoya 8, and Shyia Montoya 4; his mother Olivia Montoya; his 6 brothers Andres, Lee, Gilbert, Albert, Dominic, Andy, his only sister Lulu. His loving aunt Grace Hurtado.
Pete was predeceased by his grandfather Andres Montoya Sr. and his nephew Gilbert Montoya II.
