Phyllis Yvonne Belmont Brandenberger

Yvonne P. Brandenberger passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at home. She was born Jan. 1, 1928, to Robert and Thelma Belmont. She was the first born of the New Year in Fresno County, Ca. She found the love of her life, Glenn W. Brandenberger, and they wed six month later on August 31, 1946 in Yuma, Ariz., by Judge Lutes.

Yvonne worked as a bookkeeper at various businesses around Yuma. She and Glenn enjoyed spending their retired life in El Golfo de Santa Clara, Sonora where they had their second home. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren that she loved to spoil rotten and they loved doing the same for her. She loved dogs, making quilts and crocheting blankets for all the new babies that arrived to the family.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Thelma Belmont, and her beloved husband Glenn; also her sister Nadine, who died of whooping cough at two months of age; sister Imogene Camp and brother Harold Belmont were of Fresno. She is survived by her brothers, Robert (Virginia) Belmont of Valley Springs, Ca., Elmer (Bebe) Belmont of Paso Robles, Ca., and sister, Marsha (Ron) Decker, of Fresno Ca., sister in law, Katherine Belmont of Fresno; children Donna (Joe) Eastwood, Richard Brandenberger, Steven (Donna) Brandenberger and Todd (Aurora) Brandenberger. Her grandchildren, Trevor and Christopher (Angel) Bathrick, Glenn R. Brandenberger, Jared (Holly), Jake and Jason Brandenberger, Mandy Brown, Glenda (Johnny) Brandenberger, Manuel (Olga) Glaze, Robert (Danielle) Glaze and Osvaldo (Sherry) Glaze; great-grandchildren Cory, Christopher, Clay, Chance Bathrick, Thomas, Lance, Alecxander Villarreal, Zane Swenson, Priscilla and Erza Glaze, Hazel Brandenberger and Matthew and Adrienne Glaze; and great-great grandchildren.

You had many titles, mom, sister, aunt, grandma, G.G, you were loved by all and you will be missed very much.

Graveside services will be held Thursday February 5, 2015 at Desert Lawn Memorial Park at 10 a.m
