Queen was born in Hope, Arkansas on May 14, 1930, to Obie Hill and stepfather Elbert Dunn. The family moved from Hope to Yuma, Arizona in 1953, where she lived for 59 years. Queen worked for Ramada Inn in Yuma for 30 years.
Queen was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Lee, Sonny and Robert and her son; Herman Burton. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories, three sisters; Lou Ella, Christine and Sharon Kay, one brother; James; five grandchildren; Rodney Burton, Veronica Burton, Mercedes (Kevin) Thompson, Annette (Steve) Jones and BreeAnn Burton, two Great-grandchildren Rakim and Dominique Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Queen, we love you and we'll miss you, but you will forever be in our hearts.
