Ralph Sheridan Bailey a good -good man, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011. He was born on December 27, 1922. He was the last of 9 brothers and sisters. Sadly another generation is gone. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet and son, Ronnie.
Ralph is survived by son, Stephen (Brenda), Ray (Linda) and Martin (Ginger); numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ralph served our country and was a veteran of World War II, Korea. He worked and later retired from the Yuma Police Department. Ralph was truly a special soul in this life and was loved by many. He will be sorely missed.
A graveside service will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Yuma, AZ.

Ralph Sherman Bailey, 87, died June 9, 2011, at his Yuma home.
A retired city police detective and a veteran of the U.S. Army, he was born Dec. 27, 1922, in Fresno, Calif.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Desert Lawn. Johnson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
