Reg Lynn Hill, 47, left his family early Sunday morning, January 18, 2015. He will be remembered as a fun loving guy that lit up the room when he entered and a best friend to many. Reg was born September 22, 1967 and raised in Yuma, a graduate of Yuma High School class of 1986. Reg went on to work in the construction industry and eventually found his professional niche as a Master Restorer of Antiques. He was mentoring to eventually take over the reigns of the Packrat's Den Antique Shop, locally owned by his mother Karen Hill.
Reg loved spending time with his son Jake Hill…for the past few years they were with each other every day whether it be working together on a project or exploring the desert, hunting or fishing on the weekend, these two were inseparable. Reg always commented that Jake was his biggest accomplishment in life – a bright, honorable & caring young man.
Reg's big personality will truly be missed by many as he joins his beloved first wife, Andrea, in heaven. He is survived by his son, Jake Hill; mother, Karen Hill; father, LeRoy Hill; sisters, Dodi Toms (Chris) and Kim Hill-Olsen (Barry); and five nieces, Tabi, Madi, Brielle, Abbi, and Claire.
The family has planned a Celebration of Life in honor of Reg, to be held January 25, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30pm at From the Farm, 5158 S. Hwy 95, Yuma. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Yuma County Humane Society spay and neuter program or the Yuma Valley Rod and Gun Club.
