I will always remember the joy you brought to your mom every time you would come back home to visit her. The laughter and chisme that would be talked around the kitchen table while eating with your mom, my mom and myself. I still laugh when you called your wife so she could give me the recipe so I can cook it cause you were missing her food. My daughter will always remember when yall played police and fugitive. You will be missed, Roberto! 

I remember me and Robert were working in Gila Bend and we went to eat breakfast at the space-age restaurant he put on some alien glasses and they were green and shaped funny and it was just so funny Robert was a good friend a great co-worker and I will miss him dearly my heart goes out to the Chavez family and may your father rest in peace

My heartfelt condolences to the Chavez family.  I knew Robert since junior high school,  or maybe even 6th grade (senior moment).  And, we were classmates at the PSJA Bears HS, Class of 1974.  The last time I saw Robert was at our 45th Class Reunion at SPI.   He was so full of life and still so funny.  May God give you all comfort.  And may Robert rest in peace with the angels in heaven.
