

Roger Carlton Rose, 72, was born Wednesday, July 5th 1939, and after a period of declining health he peacefully passed away on Friday, July 8th 2011 at his home surrounded by loved ones.
Roger was a devoted husband and loving father, a loyal friend, brother and son. Roger was a graduate of Yuma High School and after attending college in Tempe, Arizona, he worked in Yuma as a farmer. He was a member of various community clubs such as, the Elks, Eagles, Moose Lodge, Yuma Archery Club, Yuma Bowling Association as well as the Arizona State Bowling Association in which he served as president. Roger was an avid bowler, which earned him an induction into the bowling hall of fame. Roger had many hobbies and interests throughout his life, but the one he cherished the most was being a family man and a good friend to so many.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Hilda Rose, his sons, Rodger Rose Jr, Timothy (Elizabeth) Rose and David Rose; his daughter, Debra "Sissy" (Jaime) Meza; his mother and father Hortense and Hubert Rose; brother, Buddy (Donna) Rose; his sisters, June (Mike) Aivazian and Julene (Mitchell) Garcia; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
