Roger and I had a long connection through the military, he and my husband both being Chaplains and serving together in Germany.  And, living in Davis, we knew his parents well.  My family (Sheryl and Nathan) send their condolences along with mine.  He will be missed here on earth by many.,  Jerrie Wright

Dear Schalm Family,

When Roger graduated from Davis High I walked down the aisle with him. There were only 52 of us graduating that year and we all knew each other well. Roger was always liked and a lot of fun. 

I will miss him but know he is at peace.

Please accept our deepest sympathies.  Paster Schalm was a good friend of Sun Vista RV Resort where he spoke at our Church services monthly.
He will be dearly missed.

Pastor was always there and was a wonderful man, pastor, mentor. It was because of him going golfing with a cousin, that my cousin accepted The Lord and became active in the church. He took my daughter, Danielle, and she became his granddaughter in training. To his family, this is not goodbye, but we will see you in Heaven. Give mom a hug from me and see you soon.
