Rosa Maria Perez, 67 of Yuma Arizona closed her beautiful eyes to rest on May 5, 2021. She was born of parents, Jose Guadalupe Martinez, and Tiburcia Arreola Martinez, on February 13, 1954 in Ruiz Nayarit, Mexico.
“Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life” John 11:25
“Rosa’s answer was, Yes I believe! “
Rosa was the proud mother to Lola Perez-Sanasac “Brad”, and Rocio Perez-Aldana “Josue”. She loved her two daughters and son in laws more than anything in the world, Her whole world revolved around them, and she would never let a moment go by without calling them by name and telling them, “Lola, Brad, Rocio , Josue, “I love you forever don’t forget!” .
Rosa Maria was a dedicated member of the Jehovah Witness in Yuma Arizona; she demonstrated her strong faith by witnessing the good news by letters to her family and friends or others as she went door to door.
Rosa Maria loved visiting her family and friends in Idaho, Arizona, and Mexico. It was not a surprise for her daughters to take her somewhere and she would often stay behind talking with someone. She loved people and often created new lifelong friendships wherever she went. Rosa was unforgettable and loved by those who knew her. She was a great cook, and loved cooking for her family. Although her house was not very big it was where most of the family gatherings took place because of her unconditional love for them as she was the heart of the family especially to her nieces and nephews that loved her so very much.
Rosa will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Her legacy will live on by her family and all those she touched.
Rosa is preceded in death by her father, Jose Guadalupe Martinez, her mother, Tiburcia Arreola Martinez her sisters , Lupita Martinez-Gonzales, Olivia Martinez, , and her brothers, Toñin Martinez, and Gilberto Martinez.
Rosa is survived by her brothers, Rigoberto Martinez, and Enrique Martinez.
“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
A Memorial speech will be held virtually via Zoom ID: 483-954-959 in honor of Rosa. (Passcode 85364) on, May 14 2021 at 7:00 p.m. .
The family would like to thank, Hospice Compassus, and Yuma Regional Medical Center “Palliative Care” for their great love and care to Rosa.

Rosa Maria Pérez, de 67 años, de Yuma Arizona, cerró sus hermosos ojos para descansar. Falleció el 5 de Mayo de 2021. Nació de padres, José Guadalupe Martínez y Tiburcia Arreola Martínez, El 13 de Febrero de 1954 en Ruiz Nayarit, México.

“La respuesta de Rosa fue, Si lo creo!”
Rosa fue la orgullosa madre de Lola Pérez-Sanasac “Brad” y Rocío Pérez-Aldana “Josué”. Quería a sus dos hijas y a sus yernos más que a nada en el mundo, todo su mundo rodaba alrededor de ellos, y nunca dejaría pasar un momento sin llamarlos por su nombre y decirles:
“Lola, Brad, Rocío, Josué, "¡I love you forever don’t forget!”.
Rosa Maria era miembro del Salón del Reino de los Testigos de Jehová en Yuma Arizona; Demostró su gran fe repartiendo las buenas nuevas del Reino mediante cartas a su familia, amigos y otras personas mientras iba de puerta en puerta.
A Rosa Maria le encantaba visitar a su familia y amigos en Idaho, Arizona y México. No fue una sorpresa para sus hijas llevarla a algún lugar y, se quedaba hablando con alguien. Amaba a la gente y hacia nuevas amistades para toda la vida dondequiera que estuviera. Rosa fue inolvidable y amada por quienes la conocieron. Era una gran cocinera y le encantaba cocinar para su familia. Aunque su casa era chica, era donde se llevaban a cabo la mayoría de las reuniones familiares debido a su amor incondicional por todos, ya que ella era el corazón de la familia, especialmente para sus sobrinas y sobrinos que la amaban mucho.
Extrañaremos mucho a Rosa, pero nunca la olvidaremos. Su legado vivirá gracias a su familia y a todos aquellos a quienes tocó.
Rosa es precedida en la muerte por su padre, José Guadalupe Martínez, su madre, Tiburcia Arreola Martínez, sus hermanas, Lupita Martínez-Gonzales, Olivia Martínez, y sus hermanos, Toñin Martínez y Gilberto Martínez.
A Rosa le sobreviven sus hermanos, Rigoberto Martínez y Enrique Martínez.
