
Santiago Christopher Cesina left this life to be with his spiritual ancestors on Thursday, May 26, 2011, Phoenix, Arizona. He suffered long in this world but always had a smile.
Santiago is survived by his children, Christopher Cesina Jr., Aletha Cesina, Lanachia Portillo, and Sierra Cesina; mother, Eleanor Keyoite of Somerton, AZ; sisters, Rachael Wilson, of Yuma, AZ; cousins, Belinda Rivera, Joseph Cesina Sr., of Somerton, AZ, Alicia of Phoenix, AZ and Berda Thomas San Luis, Mex. and many, cousins, nephews, nieces, brother and sisters.
Santiago was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Cesina and Phyliss Soto-Cesina; aunts, Bertha and Linda Cesina; father, Santiago Cesina, Sr.
Church services will be held at the Cocopah/ Somerton Church of the Nazarene officiated by Rev. Ray and June Stillings, Friday, June 3, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Tribal rites will follow at East Cocopah Indian Reservation with cremation at 5:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2011.
Pallbearers will include Joseph Cesina, Sr., Joseph Cesina Jr., Corinthian Barley, Herman Cesina, Jr., Travis Pedro, Will B. Ortega, Jr., Anthony Phillips, Jr., Allen Phillips, Alex Phillip, Desmond Jim and Darren Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Phillips Sr., Herman Cesina, Sr., Larry Phillips, Cody Cesina, Harold Coyote, and Alfredo Portillo, Dale Phillips, Gordon A. Coyote Jr., Allen Hatcher and Jimmy Phillips.
