Scott M. Burau was born March 2, 1989 in Yuma, AZ he passed away November 5, 2012 in Beaufort, South Carolina. He graduated from Antelope Union High, and enjoyed basketball, fire arms and out door recreation. Scott served his country with the United States Marine Corps for four years and had just re-enlisted, again this August. He was an Aviation Mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; parents, David and Norma Burau; sisters, Monica and Leah Burau; maternal grandparents, Manuel P. and Sabina Coronado; paternal grandparents, Ken and Patricia Smith; aunts and uncles, Manuel A. (Hilda) Coronado, Gisela Coronado, Pedro Coronado, Margarita (Gary) Burch, Esperanza Coronado, Cindy (Tom) Kern and Robert (Vicky) Burau; and his cousins, Erica, Lee, Manuel Jr., Carlos Jr., Angelica, Veronica, Bianca, Maria, Brianna, Alonzo, Crystal, Michael Joe, Eric, Jazmin, Andrea, Chris & Rachal Kern and Darwin & Sharon Kern. Scott was predeceased by his uncle, Carlos Coronado.
Wake will be Wednesday, November 14, 2012 5-9 pm with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Scripture Service will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 10:00 am at Johnson Mortuary. Interment will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Meditation. Pallbearers will be the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard. Honorary Pallbearers include, Manuel Coronado, Pedro Coronado, Carlos Coronado, Manuel Coronado, Jr., Tom Kern, Darwin Kern, Chris Kern, Robert Burau, Robert Grogan, Gary Burtch, Steve Kelland, Javier Olea and Doug Tyler.
