

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sylvia Dill as a cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and dear friend, who departed this life on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of 50. Sylvia was surrounded by the love of her family and she left this world peacefully and with grace.
Sylvia was born on August 8, 1975, in Yuma, Arizona. She attended Yuma High and grew into a woman defined by kindness, strength, and an unwavering devotion to those she loved. She dedicated her life to her family, offering guidance, comfort, and unconditional support. As a mother, she was a steady foundation; as a grandmother, a joyful presence filled with warmth and love. Sylvia’s career consisted of working in accounting positions for Yuma School District One, Yuma Proving Grounds, and Datepac LLC. Sylvia was also a member of the Catholic Church.
Sylvia was a beloved sister and aunt, someone her family could always rely on for a listening ear, or a generous laugh, and moral support. Her circle of friends was wide, and she nurtured each relationship with genuine care and loyalty. Whether sharing a meal, lending a helping hand, or offering a quiet moment of understanding, she made every person feel valued.
She will be remembered for her spirit, her resilience, and her ability to bring light to even the most difficult days. Her legacy lives on, in the countless lives she touched, and in the memories her family and friends will forever cherish.
Sylvia is survived by her spouse of 27 years, James Dill, sons Zauntrey and Tristian, daughter Destiny, daughter-in-law Rossy, grandchildren Amaya, Zayden, and Jayden. Father Louis Tellez Felix, siblings, Henry, Louis, Michael, Freddy, Lydia and Fernando. Sylvia is preceded in death by her mother, Delia Felix, nephew Steven Martin, and grandmothers Otila Yanez and Julia T. Felix.
Sylvia was lover of sports, she played softball on local teams, and enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers and Alabama Crimson Tide. She always contributed to local fund raisers whether she was rolling tacos, keeping score, or donating items. Her presence will truly be missed.
