After attending Kofa High School he served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and returned with an honorable discharge. He worked for the City of Yuma in various departments and participated in many community events. He served a term as Commandeer for the Local VFW. Those who knew him during his employment have provided their comments in the memories. Most remember him wearing his beret and having his guitar readily available. He is the father of three children.
Trinidad is survived by Trinidad (Thalia) Vasquez, Eros (Bethany) Vasquez, grandson Ryker Vasquez, granddaughter Oaklyn Vasquez, Xanthus Trinidad (Janneth) Vasquez, Gabriel (Andrea) Vasquez, Kaitlyn Burkhart, Raymond Vasquez, Alize Vasquez (Jesus Barba), and granddaughter Liliana Barba.
Trini's siblings are Frank Vasquez (deceased), John Vasquez (deceased), Tomas E. Vasquez, Mary (Maria) Vasquez, Pedro M. Vasquez, Anthony Vasquez Jr., Ruben R. Vasquez, Rose McKinley, Mary Dale Riggin and Gloria Yoakum.
Trini has many nephews and nieces.
Visitation is scheduled on September 12, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Kammann located at 795 W. 28th St. Yuma, AZ 85364. There will be a Rosary at 7:00 PM officiated by Oscar Chavez.
The Mass Funeral Service will follow the following day, September 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Mission 417 S. 15th Ave. Yuma, AZ 85364.
