

Vera spent her early years in California before marrying the love of her life, Frederick Walter Kamrath, on March 2, 1951. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and adventure.
Vera and Fred eventually moved their family to Yuma, Arizona, where she would spend the remainder of her life. Vera was a devoted Lutheran whose faith guided her throughout her many years. She was an avid reader who often enjoyed several books each week, particularly mystery and romance novels. She loved the many dogs she had throughout the years. Additionally, she loved to: swim, sew, bake and go dancing.
Vera also loved to travel. Some of her happiest memories were trips to Mexico, especially visits to their homes in El Golfo and later Puerto Peñasco with Fred. She treasured those adventures and the time spent together exploring places they loved.
Vera is survived by her daughter, Corinne, and son-in-law, Rick Sellers; her granddaughter, Chantal; her great-granddaughters, Chloë and Bella; her son, Craig Kamrath; and his wife, Liz; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Kamrath; her daughter, Staci Kamrath; her father, Oscar McCuistion; her mother, Sarah Helen Watkins; and her stepfather, Clifford Watkins.
Vera will be remembered for her resilience and unwavering faith, her love of reading, her fondness for Mexico, and ability to keep her loved ones on their toes. Her legacy lives on through the generations that follow her.
