She was born November 17, 1913 in Gurdon, Arkansas, and was a homemaker.
Vera is survived by her sons, Jerry Leamons; daughters, Lois V. Brummett, Mary Leamons, Lillian Howard, Dorothy Smith, Iris Metz and Kathy Coley; sister, Mary Marks; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Leamons; son David Lee Leamons; parents Oscar Aylor and Bertha Vaden; and brothers, Ussery Aylor and Aurther Aylor.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 6 pm - 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Honor
