We were saddened to hear of the death of Victoria Nelson.  We had a mutual friend, Father John Keenan.  May her soul Rest in Peace.  We are praying for her in Fatima, Portugal.  Shall pray for her at the Shrine here.

I remember Vickie as a kind and generous lady that always had a smile for everyone.I had the pleasure of doing her hair at one time and as we became friends she shared the love she had for Our Lord and her friends and family.She was a true testemony to her life..

Mrs Nelson was a true pilar of faith.  She exuded trust, joy and reverence.  I have missed seeing her at mass and now know that she is in the loving arms of her Lord.  May your faith and family bring you comfort.

Dear Nelson Family,
I and my family before me (especially my mother Josephine) have known Vicky for 50 years. My memories of her are that she was ageless: by that I mean she could relate to and converse with anybody, regardless of how old they were. She had a great sense of humor, but could be very firm at the same time. I so respected her. She would always smile when I called her by my nickname for her, "Lady Victoria."
She was also a woman of great faith who not only practiced he Catholicism, but lived it daily.
I know she and my mom are having a wonderful heavenly reunion as I write this. When I recall Lady Victoria, my mental image of her is that she is always smiling. Now God is smiling at her--eternally.
