Whitney Lynn Mejia

Born to parents Bill and Janet Manary in Yuma on April 6, 1988, Whitney graduated from Yuma High School in 2006 and received her Associate in Applied Sciences from Pima Medical Institute in 2015 so she could continue to advance her skills throughout the veterinary world.

She married in April 2022. Whitney Mejia is survived by her loving husband Brandon Mejia, and our two beautiful boys William Jax Mejia and Parker Whit Mejia, along with her parents Bill Manary & Olivia Manary, and Janet Manary. Brothers; Bryan Manary & Alanna Manary, and Josh Manary, Grandparents Larry and Patricia Swinford, Liane Manary, and Greg Manary, and numerous extended family and friends.

Whitney always carried a smile and a passion for animals. While some say you shouldn't take your work home with you, Whitney would, taking on the responsibility of re-homing two cats (Phoebe and Rajah), multiple tortoises including the eldest Baloo, an aquarium of fish, and the addition of Maverick, a Boston Terrier that completed our family.

While she loved caring for the animals, the love and care she provided for her two boys were unmatched. Whether it was watching movies, walking, playing in the sprinklers, or providing cuddles and love, Whitney embodied all the characteristics a child could ask for from their mother. She knew how to love and gave her husband the best years of his life.
