Our loving father & grandfather after 93 strong years is now resting. Dad was born on November 18, 1918 in Navajoa, Sonora, Mexico.
He came to Yuma at the age of 5, and was a veteran of WWII. He married Amalia Nunez on October 4, 1942 she preceded him in death in 1988, and raised his family working as a carpenter and a business owner. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Raul, Rodolfo, Arnoldo and Sebastian Ponce; sisters, Maria, Loretito, Ysidora and Emilia.
He is survived by his children Marilyn Noyes (Fred), Linda De Luca (Rick), Jay Ponce (Dawn) and Danny Ponce (Patricia). Grandchildren Rick & Anthony De Luca, Amanda Drake, Lena Altamirano, Arcy Montes, Arlene Gentry, Bretina De Anda, Eileen, Danny & Celine Ponce, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His joy was spending time with his family and helping and encouraging many to read the bible.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday July 21 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 4985 E. 30th place Yuma, Arizona. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Yuma.
