Bill Aynes, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on May 23, 2018. He was born in Los Angeles, CA, and spent his growing years in Fifield, WI. He moved to Yuma AZ in 1979, and attended Arizona Western College, where he studied to be a draftsman. He continued his education at Southern Illinois University and received his degree in Electrical Management. He worked at Yuma Proving Ground as a DoD Civilian for 37 years before retiring in January, 2018.
Bill is survived by his wife Kathryn, his daughter Jessica, his son Matthew, and his brother Todd Costello. He also leaves behind many lifelong friends and family members.
Bill was a good and loyal friend to many, and never turned away anyone who asked him for help. He was kind to any living creature that crossed his path. He enjoyed restoring his 1979 Camaro, playing the guitar, cool climates, star watching, thunderstorms, learning local history, searching for the elusive gold nugget, riding his quad listening to music and singing loudly, blowing things up, and spending time with his family. It was such a good ride, Bill. We will miss you dearly.
