Thomas Joseph Duggan, age 92, passed away on January 31, 2021. Thomas was born on October 31, 1928 in St. Paul, MN. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan. He is survived by his children, Daughter, Theresa; sons, Daniel (Gina) and Patrick (Geri); Grandchildren, Danielle, Matthew, Andrew, Lindsey and Shawn and 2 sisters, Peggy Seekon and Angela Robson.
Tom was a supply sergeant for the US Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan. When he returned stateside, he went to Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis and graduated at the top of his class as a machinist. But life took him in a different direction and he decided to become a St. Paul Firefighter/Paramedic. A career he was devoted to and truly loved for 27 years. He loved to travel with my Mom in their RV, and he was the world's best tinkerer. He was always working on, improving or repairing things.
Thomas was a loving husband, father and grandfather with a quick wit, enormous compassion and generosity. He will be deeply missed. Our family requests any gifts or donations be made to Kindred Hospice or the charity of your choice.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held MONDAY, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Charles Catholic Church, 409 3rd St. N., Bayport, MN. Private Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery
