He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Horenstein) Glicksman, happily married for 55 years.
David was born in Winthrop, MA, the son of the late Charles and Sally (Winet )Glicksman.
He is survived, in addition to his wife by his son Samuel Glicksman (Jennifer Camp) and daughter Anne Braunstein(Robert). Siblings; Milton (Barbara) Glicksman, Edward (Barbara) Glicksman and Joan(David)Farrow. He was the devoted grandfather of Emily and Sydney Braunstein.
David was proud of his many years as a Mason, a member of Tifereth Israel Synagogue, serving on the Board of Directors and on the Cemetery Committee and Youth Commission. One of his fondest memories were his years as a Boy Scout and his summer at the Philmont Scout Ranch. He attended Talmud classes at Ahavath Achim and always had a desire to learn. David was the owner of Transport Planning & Services, Inc.
Due to the current restrictions on social gatherings, the funeral will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home, 200 Hawthorn Street, New Bedford, MA 02740 or Community Nurse Home Care, 62 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719.
