Strength, Courage, Love, Family, Honesty, Integrity, and Forgiveness are just a few of the things that he taught his children, not by words alone, but in how he lived his life. He had a heart the size of a mountain and made sure we all knew how much he loved us. Kevin would do anything just to get a smile or a laugh out of you. He worked hard for his family and when they needed him, he was there for them. One of his greatest passions in life was cooking. Cooking for his loved ones brought him great joy and he did it every chance he got.
Kevin had lots of nieces and nephews and he loved each and every one of them dearly. He was always excited whenever a family reunion was planned and he got to spend time with them. When Kevin made friends, they ended up becoming lifelong friends. There are too many to name but they all meant the world to him, especially the Zapke’s and Lowe’s.
He was truly a wonderful man who loved God, his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and his country. Kevin attended River of Life Assembly of God church and was proud to call Tony Minick his pastor. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a turbine operator by trade.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of Kevin’s favorite charities; Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude’s hospital, Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or Shriner’s hospital.
