Casper "Cap" grew up on a farm in Wisconsin. He attended high school in Glenwood City and after high school, he opened a radio repair shop. In 1950 he enlisted in the US Air Force and proudly served during the Korean War as a radar mechanic.
Shortly after his return, he embarked on a 47-year career at Honeywell as a computer specialist. He was married to Marie-Luise Teigen for 58 years; they have one daughter, Anita.
In retirement, Cap and Marie-Luise enjoyed traveling around the world. Cap's biggest childhood dream was realized when he cruised around Cape Horn in 2008.
Cap is survived by his loving wife, Marie-Luise Teigen; daughter, Anita Teigen; son-in-law, Benjamin Jose; and many friends.
Due to COVID, a private ceremony will take place at Sunset Funeral Home and Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Teigen family.
