Eva Bloodworth Etheredge, 93, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021. A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Fellowship Baptist Church. Entombment will be private for family only in the Chapel Mausoleum of Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Rodney Queen officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the church. Face masks and social distancing are required to be in attendance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Fellowship Baptist Church, 8460 Hawkinsville Road, Macon GA 31216.
Eva was born in Gordon, Georgia and was raised in Perry, Georgia to Roy Littleton and Gertie Mixon Bloodworth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis S. Etheredge Sr., daughter, Virginia Ann Barclay, sister, Essie Claud Hughes and brother, Henry Bloodworth. She graduated Valedictorian of the class of 1944 from Perry High School and a graduate of Crandall Business College. Eva was an accountant for Hudspeth Animal Hospital. She was a member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her daughter, Faye (Henry) Williams of Macon, grandchildren, Raymond (Lynette) Williams, Brian (Laura) Williams, Julie Barclay Scott, Terri (Timothy) Willingham, grandchildren, Kirsten, Sydney, Breanna, Megan Williams and Gage Willingham,sisters, Dr. Charlie Goolsby of Peachtree City, Bobbe Dean Richardson of Perry, Glynis Ellis of Grovania, brothers, Stewart Bloodworth of Perry, and Dr. Jerome Bloodworth of Perry, several nieces and nephews.
