home at 627 Chimney Hill Circle. She was surrounded by friends and family at the time of her
passing.
Donna was born in Pittsburgh, PA to James & Dorothy Snee on November 13, 1944. She was
the 2nd of 4 children to be born to James and Dorothy and would be the only girl. She was
close with all 3 of her brothers, James, Rick and Johnny Mike. She went to High School in
McKeesport, PA and later went to work at Bechtel Co. where she met and married William R.
Greenaway on November 14, 1964. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2014.
Donna was widowed in December 2020 after 56 years of marriage.
Donna was a hard working assistant at a local law firm, Donsbach Law Group LLC. She was
with the group almost from inception which was roughly 17 plus years.
She was a fun, smart, caring, loving and confident mother-figure. She soaked up just about
anything she could when it came to history, especially WW2. She happily entertained family and
friends in her home on any occasion and especially holidays or birthdays. She had a large
collection of Christmas decorations and would slowly start to decorate with the first “chill” in
the air: Christmas was her favorite. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids,
extended family and friends. She played bridge once a month with a small ladies group. Her
green thumb was very impressive as was her dedication to the plants and beautiful flowers that
she kept always looking amazing. She was a huge animal lover and her pups all felt the
tremendous love she provided. Her love for the the piano cannot be forgotten either.
Donna is survived by son, Thomas (wife Paige nee’ McAdams) Greenaway; grandson, William;
granddaughter, Lauren; Daughter, Elizabeth Armstrong (nee’ Greenaway) (spouse Doug
Armstrong); step-grandson Dillon; step granddaughter, Megan and granddaughter Katherine.
She is also survived by brother, James (Betty); brother, John and many nieces and
nephews.
Donna created and cherished so many memories with her dearest friends. She would tell many
funny stories about Vera Salter from Monroeville, PA. She talked about deep friendships with
Karen and David Stewart from Evans, Ga and Kris and Bill Kershner from Evans, Ga. She had
childhood memories with Gloria Suspanic from Aiken, SC (but raised In McKeesport). There are
many many more friends and family members who partook in her 76 years, but mostly she
would want us to remember how she was lucky to have each one of you to share in her life
here on earth.
Thank you to all who were there with our family the few days before and on the day of her
passing, she felt very loved.
