Elizabeth Elisardo Padilla was born in Cuero, Texas on December 6, 1935 to Prajedis Elisardo and Genoveva Moreno. Upon moving to Taft she met her husband, and started her family. She then moved to Dallas with her children and husband Santos Padilla Sr. with whom she shared 63 wonderful years with. Elizabeth was the most caring, loving person that one could ever have the joy of knowing. She cherished her family and friends and brightened every room with her smile. She was a deeply devout Catholic and was active in the church. After losing her husband, Elizabeth continued on until peacefully passing away on February 5th, 2021 surrounded by family and loved ones. Elizabeth will be remembered for being a spirited and humble mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She may have left us, but she was joined into the arms of her dear husband.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her sons, Sidney Joe Padilla, Sandy Lee Padilla and daughter, Patricia Padilla. She is survived by her sons Santos Samuel Jr. and wife Lisa, Simson Saul and wife Esmeralda, and Simon Peter and Robin Padilla Groce; her daughter, Sarah Ann Martinez and husband Moises; her grandchildren, Christopher, Elena Cardoza, Graciela, Gabriela, Nicole, Anthony, David Martinez, Michael Martinez, Angelica Martinez, and Elizabeth Martinez; her great grandchildren, Marco, Marisa, Mathew, Jaelyn, Christopher Jr., Isaiah, Juliana.
A visitation for Elizabeth will be held February 26, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary at 7:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be February 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary, 4015 S Hampton Rd, Dallas, Texas 75224. A committal will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
In accordance with local, state, and federal government, including CDC directives, we ask everyone attending funeral services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
