Farell Cypren Trosclair (Fox) passed away on January 24, 2021, and his beloved wife of almost 43 years, Dorile Marie Allemand Trosclair followed him on February 6, 2021. They both died from complications of COVID-19. He was a native of Chackbay, LA who grew up in Westwego. She was born and raised in Harvey, LA. They met while both were employed by Seco Industries. They were married in April of 1978 and made their loving home in Marrero, LA. They shared a passion for horses for many years. Farell was a big fan of boxing and old western shows and movies. Dorile also had a passion for sewing and crafting, even as of recent, having a Times Picayune/NOLA.com story written about her mask making for the front line workers during the pandemic. They left behind many loved ones, including their beloved family pets, Harley and Gumbo.
Dorile had three children, Loyd John Bagot (Rita), Elizabeth Bagot Wilson (Robert), and Jeffrey Mark Bagot (Mona). Farell was predeceased by his son Craig John Trosclair (Cindy). He was also the father of Denise Nolan (Bob), Bambi Taylor, and Allison Watts (Joey). They were the proud grandparents of Dennis Trosclair (Jodi), Daniel Loyd Bagot (Robyn), Matthew Jared Bagot, Chase Michael Bagot, Madison Elizabeth Wilson, Seth Christian Bagot, and Tyler Michael Wilson and great grandparents of Logan Skylar Trosclair, Logan Dean Bagot and Reese Marie Bagot. He was also the step grandfather of John Jackson and step great grandfather to Austin Jackson and Jacob Jackson.
He was the son of the late Welton Trosclair and Esther Rodrigue Trosclair, and brother of Malone Verges (the late Larry), Sadie Perque (Milton), Nina Bubrig (Lee), Dutch Trosclair (Peggy), Addison Trosclair (Patty), Nona Dupuy (Tommy), and Denny Trosclair (Rhonda). She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Leona Guidroz Allemand, and sister of the late Donald Allemand and Bobby Allemand. They are survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held for them on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Believer's Life Family Church, 501 Lapalco Blvd, Gretna on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Memorial Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Express condolences at westsideleitzeagan.com.
