She graduated from Riverview high school in 1967 and worked as a nurse’s aide for many years. She also worked at Pondarosa, as a dispatcher for a cab company and was a stay at home mom.
Mary was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking, cooking, playing cards and cookouts with her family. She loved and cared for everyone and always gave a good meal to anyone in need. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her three children, Veronica Thuener, Paul Madison and Florence Madison all of Coshocton, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Harold Snellenberger of Coshocton, Leoma (Terry) Jenkins of Coshocton, Barb Burnett of Glenford, Sue Fry of Coshocton, Ruth Lacey of Newark, Vivian (Henry) White of Frazeysburg and Blaine Hughes of Coshocton; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, William Madison who passed away in 1992; and four siblings, Brenda Newell, Pam Hughes, Bonnie Cunningham and Robert Newell.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, social distancing measures will be in place and there will be a limited number of people inside the funeral home at a time. We also ask that you please wear a facemask at all times for the health and safety of our guests and employees.
Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Dale Sutton officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
