Peter spent most of his life on the water as a commercial fisherman, crew member on numerous boats, and Captain (owner/ operator) of the fishing vessel Titus Talisman 2002. Upon retirement, he was a shore Captain , and also the proprietor of the Dock and Doze Inn . Captain Peter enjoyed hunting, travelling, lobster and halibut fishing, he loved camping at the lake with his friends. He will be greatly missed around the roads and wharfs of Brier Island. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 92 Freeport.
Surviving are his wife Patsy Nickerson, Freeport; sons Christopher (Lisa ) Titus, Westport; Stacey ( Claire) Titus of Edmonton; Ethan Titus (Me-Anne), Edmonton; grandchildren Ryker of Dartmouth; Maveryck of Meteghan; Isabella , Westport; Michael Peters, Westport; Zachary Peters, Leduc , AB; Ty, Dylan and Waylon all of Edmonton. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Clyde and Gary Titus, sisters Donna Titus and Sandra “Sis” Hachey.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home Digby. Due to co-vid restrictions ,a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for “the Man , The Myth, and the Legend “. .
