Dolores Marie Blanche (Chasse) Jones, 76, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of the late Edward Daniel Jones, passed peacefully from her life here to her joyous home in heaven on February 9, 2021. Dolores was born on February 14, 1944 in St. Agatha, Maine. She was the daughter of the late Donat and Yvonne (Roy) Chasse.
She married Danny in 1974, and they enjoyed 45 years of companionship and community service; they were both well-loved members of their Baptist church.
Dolores worked as a secretary at Central Christian Academy in Southington, CT for almost 30 years. She was a person of strong faith and loved helping people. She enjoyed reading, baking, listening to music, and keeping the cleanest house ever. She was also a world traveler, making many overseas trips.
She leaves her daughter Kelly Sharp of Glastonbury, her brothers Paul Chasse and Joseph Emile Chasse, and her sister Mary Rozanski.
In addition to her husband and parents, Dolores was predeceased by six of her siblings: Rose, Geraldine, Joseph Alphonse, Rene, Camille, and George.
Funeral services will be private. The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield has been entrusted by the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd. S #4b, Southington, CT 06489.
