Thomas will be lovingly remembered by his parents Cathleen M. and James W. Sherman (the late Jeffrey T. Van De Walle). He was a loving brother to Elizabeth (Benjamin) DeBisschop, Colleen (Kyle) Chazaro, and Claire (Benjamin) Albarran. Beloved Grandson to Thomas (Cheryl) Van De Walle, Cheryl DePaepe and Barbara Sherman. Uncle to Cathleen, Benjamin, Julia, William, Theodore, Thomas and Madeline DeBisschop; Abigail, Eleanor, Charlotte Estand, Elijah and William Chazaro; Owen Albarran. He is survived by his Fiancé Jenni Nguyen and two children Logan and Odelia.
Those who knew Tom, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. His family adored him and could not have been more proud of the person he was. He was deeply committed to his children. Tom was ambitious, and always working to improve himself and the lives of his family. Thomas was a valued employee of the Xerox Company. He was often commended for his exceptional customer service skills and vast knowledge and expertise in the field. From an early age, Thomas loved music. He was a talented guitar player who enjoyed playing for family and friends. His daily practice of Jiu Jitsu and MMA were one of his greatest passions. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, intelligence and huge and compassionate heart. Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday February 13, 2021 at Kenny Brothers Funeral Directors, 3600 W. 95th Street, Evergreen Park, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
