Loretta (Tilley) Nagai entered into eternity on February 9, 2021 in Mesa, Arizona. Loretta was born on September 22, 1930 in Burley, Idaho. She was the oldest of three children born to Myrtle (Boatman) Tilley and Henry Archie Tilley. She met her late husband, Harold Nagai in Great Falls, Montana while he was serving in the U.S. Airforce. They together had five children, in which she had the opportunity to rear all of them during their younger years in Oahu, Hawaii where Harold was originally from. Loretta was a strong and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who she was also employed by and retired after working for over 20 years as a custodian in both Idaho and Arizona. She took pride in her work cleaning different buildings for the church. Loretta served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in London, England from 1996-1998. Loretta dedicated her life to her family and the Lord. She had five children, Stephanie (Nagai) and Larry Meadows, Karen (Nagai) and Wayne Gruninger, Kanani (Nagai) Lapatra, Hale Nagai and Richard Nagai. All of whom currently reside in Gilbert, Arizona. She has 9 grandkids and 23 great grandkids. Loretta loved going to the temple where she was able to complete thousands of ordinances.
She welcomed everyone into her life and developed friendships with people all over the world. She will be dearly missed. Services for Loretta Nagai will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1483 N Driftwood Dr., Gilbert, Arizona on Friday, February 26, 2021 with the viewing at 9:00am and the services at 10:00am. Loretta's final resting place will be on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley, Idaho.
