Patricia’s parents precede her in death, as well as her husband of 42 years Richard Maag, and brother Peter Capone. She is survived and will be remembered by her daughter Michelle Maag, ‘like a daughter’ Gail Bastin, brother Vince Capone and many, many friends and family.
Patricia was a kind heart and great ear. She was a great listener that offered comfort to many who needed someone to talk to. Her consideration and caring will be truly missed by many.
She was also a Jeopardy! game show fan and could not be interrupted during viewing. Anyone who knew her knew not to get in the middle of her trivia time.
Patricia was an avid reader. So much so that she burned out her kindle devices, not just once, but 4 times. Her loved ones will always remember her with a book.
Most of all Patricia loved her family which included her 4 legged grand-doggies and kitties.
A visitation will be held in Patricia’s honor at Mount Auburn funeral home (4101 S Oak Park Ave. Stickney, IL 60402,) on February 20 from 9 am to 1 pm. Burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd. Hillside, IL 60161,) immediately to follow.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.MountAuburnFuneralHome.com for the Maag family.
