Oscar was a respected employee of Pletcher’s Plant Nursery in Harlingen, Texas for 23 years. He worked for several plant nurseries in and around Harlingen before moving to Corpus to work at Walmart. His passions included landscaping, telling cheesy dad jokes and BBQing for his family & friends. Oscar had the uncanny ability to speak to anyone and everyone. The word stranger did not exist in his vocabulary. If you were fortunate to share your phone number with him, he would share life advice, weather forecasts, gas prices and a new joke he discovered. Oscar’s sudden passing not only impacted close family and friends but the various people he met on his life’s pathway. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will begin at 11:30am, with 2:00 pm memorial presentation on Saturday, Feb 27 2021 at the 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415 which will follow cremation.
