Jesse Was born on November 9, 1936 in Los Angeles County to Carmen and Atanasia Martinez. He graduated from Central Union H.S (Fresno), class of 1956. Following his graduation, during the Vietnam War, he served with the U.S Air Force as a air craft mechanic. After his Military service he then married the late Mary B. Martinez and settled in Santa Clara, in which they celebrated 49 years of Marriage.
For over 30 years, he worked at Lockheed Martin on projects ranging from The Hubble Telescope to different types of underwater missiles until his Retirement. In his spare time Jesse was an active member of the Catholic Church, The Guadelupe Society, American Legion Post 0419, and Multiple P.A.L Organizations. Most of all he loved his family from Daughters, to Grandchildren and even Great Grandchildren, and anything that involved our lives. He will be greatly missed by many.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his Wife, Mary B. Martinez. Sisters, Elizebeth Fierro and Mary Birge. Brothers, Mike, Joe, Jimmy, Lawrence Martinez.
He is survived by Daughters, Patricia M. Reardon of San Jose, Margie Chavez of Santa Clara. Grandchildren, Alexander Martinez of Santa Clara, Victoria Chavez of Santa Clara, Max Reardon of San Jose, Gabrielle Gutierrez of Fresno, Anthony Chavez of Santa Clara. Great Grandchildren Daniel Martinez and Aiden Martinez of Santa Clara. Sisters, Margaret Fragoza of Madera, Sally Fierro of Fresno. Brothers, Cruz Martinez of Colorado Springs and Carmen Martinez Jr. Of Fresno, and by many Nieces and Nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 Restriction The Celebration of Life will be on a date to be determined, all flowers and gifts in his memory can be sent to 2540 Rose way, Santa Clara CA 95051.
