Arnie was born in Grand Rapids, MI November 5, 1953 to his late father Jesse Guerra and to his surviving mother Patricia Totten. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Arnie pursued his passion for automobiles and was recognized for his award-winning talent by which all others are measured as a leader in auto-body restoration. Arnie loved his family and his pet animals. Arnie is remembered for his desire to help others, even in his passing as he was helping others with his donation to Gift of Life Donor Program.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse and step-son Robert Thompson.
Surviving are his wife Becca Guerra; children Troy and wife Becky Guerra of Sparta, MI, Amanda and husband Doug Shields of Grand Rapids, MI; mother Patricia Totten of San Diego, CA; siblings Bob and wife Kathy of Ackerman, MS, Tom and wife Jan of Aurora, CO, Barbara and husband Denny of Lakeland, FL, Shelia and husband Joe Roger of Breaux Bridge, LA, Nathalia Campbell of Cedar Springs, MI, Floyd and wife Lollie Guerra of Atwater, CA, Jesse Guerra of San Diego, CA and Dawn Silver of Grand Rapids, MI; grandchildren Katie Shields, William Shields, Tanner Guerra, Parker Guerra, and Cooper Guerra; great granddaughter Gloria Ellsworth; step children and grandchildren, Ben (Courtney) Thompson and Taylor (Rick) Faircloth; Savannah Thompson, Peyton Thompson, Evan Faircloth, Mason Faircloth, Scarlet Thompson; many extended family and friends.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Arnie’s life (Following current Covid restrictions) will be Wednesday from 2-4pm, with a sharing of memories at 3pm. The 3pm sharing time will be livestreamed on Lakeshore Memorials Facebook page for those who are not able to attend.
