Hayden James Clarke, age 45, of Frisco, TX passed away in the early hours of February 17, 2021, and will be missed by his many friends and family. He was born in Dartford, United Kingdom on October 21, 1975, and grew up in Kent playing rugby and often getting into mischief. After passing his A Levels, he graduated from the Oxford Air Training School and received many fixed wing and rotorcraft ratings. In addition to his love of rugby, he had a passion for aviation that led him to a career in avionics.
It is through aviation that he met his wife, Jamie Clarke, whose English accent is only slightly worse than Hayden’s American accent. They were married on October 22nd, 2016 and lived in Frisco, TX where they enjoyed lounging around their pool, doing puzzles and playing board games with Jamie’s kids, Davis and Devyn Cullen, step-kids to Hayden.
He is also survived by his mother Brenda Clarke, father and stepmother, Raymond Clarke and Charlotte Brown, and sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Carl Bruce, and their children Josh and Beau. He is also survived by his brother Simon Brown and son Ollie. Hayden’s departure leaves a hole in many hearts beyond just the immediate family and he will be missed more than words can share.
Hayden was a hard-charging, live life to its fullest person that has bungee jumped off the highest bridges in New Zealand, rode Ostriches in South Africa, and jumped from a helicopter to extreme ski fresh powder with his friends. Those fortunate enough to have experienced his hugs, and he hugged everyone, knew his hugs were encompassing and meaningful every time. He was always the bright light in a room and anyone who met him instantly liked him. His light was extinguished too early, but his memory will live in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
Celebrations of Hayden’s life will be held in Texas and the United Kingdom in the coming months. Information will be provided at a later date.
