She was born on May 19, 1938 in Manila, Philippines. She was the fifth of the eight
children of the late Maximino and Luisa Baynio. She married her first love Luis Saladino
Morado Sr on June 24, 1958. Luis predeceased her in 2003. They have been blessed
with five children who were all born and raised in Manila. Marietta left the country to join
her daughter Luisa in California USA in 2006.
In spite of her humble beginning, she was able to complete her grade school education.
She wanted a better life. Her hard work and perseverance have paid off as her small
store in the public market successfully sustains her family for years.
Marietta loved the Lord and was a faithful Seventh-Day Adventist. She lived a full life as
a devoted wife, wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, friend. She courageously fights
the challenges in life with a lot of prayers, positive outlook and a smile. Her generosity
and contagious laugh will always be remembered by everyone whose lives she has
touched.
Marietta is survived by her children: Antonio (Shirley) Morado of Bacoor, Cavite,
Philippines; Luisa (Romano) Sandajan of Arleta, California, USA; Ada (Fidel) Babida of
