James Blaise Dieli, 72, of Whiting, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Born in New York City, NY, James lived for many years in Staten Island and in his later years moved to New Jersey where he lived with his wife Marie. James was well respected for his service in Vietnam during late 60’s and early 70’s. He was an auto body man by trade owning his own businesses for many years and most recently ran King High Auto body in South Amboy, NJ.
James was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved both sports immensely. He also had a love for music. As a young man he loved performing in bands, such as his band in the 60’s known as The Morticians. He always loved being with his entire family and especially enjoyed making them laugh.
James is survived by his wife Marie, his sister Rosemarie Dieli Francis, his son’s Philip (Cindy) Dieli and Richard (Tara) Dieli, and stepchildren, Kristin (Jason) Arnheiter, Alicia Parrino, Andrew (Jill) Parrino, and Jennifer (Dom) Lupo and his grandchildren, Ryan, Joe, Jaylin, Jordan, Jillian, A.J., Jason, Isabella, and Kayla.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 1 to 5pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd, Whiting, NJ with a Service beginning at 4pm. Burial will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 12:30pm at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
