Magnel Agnita Hinds, 88, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away on February 20, 2021. She was born in Guyana, South America; and in 1961 she traveled to England where she studied nursing and midwifery. She was a practicing midwife in England when she moved back to Guyana to hold the positions of nurse and matron at Davis Memorial Hospital. In 1972, she again moved to England where she served as nursing supervisor in the operating room at Ashford Hospital. She came to the United States in 1991 and settled in New York for a short time before moving to Central Florida in 1993. Magnel was a true caregiver taking care of everyone including her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Aubrey and Joyce Hinds; sisters, Maisie Hinds, Ruby Sallion, Linet and her husband, Dr. Kenneth Riley, and Waveney and her husband, Dr. Gordon Martinborough; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
